The funeral for Evelyn Aldridge, 97, formerly of Decatur, will be Sunday, May 24, 2015, at 3:30 p.m. at Austinville United Methodist Church in Decatur with the Rev. Dallas Culver and Dr. Frances Moss officiating and Roselawn Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery. Visitation will be at the church from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. before the service.
Mrs. Aldridge died Wednesday, May 20, 2015, in Munster, Indiana. She was born April 3, 1918, in North Baltimore, Ohio, to Orvel and Grace Fry. She was a homemaker moving to Decatur in 1962 with her husband and family. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Donald; one sister, Pauline Stockwell; and one brother, Donald E. Fry.
Survivors include two daughters, Darilyn Goulet (Richard) of Oregon, Ohio, Kathleen Miller (Gerald, deceased) of St. John, Indiana; one son, Richard Aldridge (Karen) of Decatur; nine grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be grandsons.
