Eva Reeves Miller, age 67, of Florence, Ala., died Thursday, Sept. 20, 2012. The visitation will be Saturday from 6-9 p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home, Central Heights. The funeral will be Sunday Sept. 23 at 2 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Wayne Wood, Leon Smith and Larry Murdock will be officiating. Interment will be at Pine Hill Cemetery.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 31 years, Alfred Miller; father and mother Brownie and Ophelia Reeves; brother, Quanie Reeves (Doris); nephew, Kenny Reeves; and great-nephew, Josh Fisher.
She is survived by her son, Pete Stacy (April); daughters, Rhonda Smith (Billy Rhodes), Melissa Hill (Allen Smith), Angie Balentine (Stacy Price); brothers, Jerry Reeves (Ruth), Kenneth Reeves (Bonnie); sisters, Louise Murks (Ruel), Margaret Wilson (Rayburn), Brenda Reeves and Lois Smith; 11 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; very dear friend, Martha Myrick; and special little nurse, Shakyra Wright.
Pallbearers will be Chad Balentine, Billy Rhodes, Neal Myrick, Joey Oakley, Jeremy Reeves and Rusty Smith.
The family would like to express special thanks to Gentiva Home Health and Hospice of the Tennessee Valley.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital .
