Eunice Amanda Cook-GrigsbyEunice Webster Cook-Grigsby, age 98 of Goodlettsville passed away Friday, January 14th, 2022 at Brookdale Memory Care in Goodlettsville, TN. Funeral services will be held 12pm Tuesday, January 18th at Austin & Bell Funeral Home Greenbrier with Rev. Nathan Washburn officiating.
Burial will follow in Bethlehem Cemetery with family members serving as pallbearers. Visitation will be 11am until time of service at the funeral home on Tuesday, January 18th.
She was born in Greenbrier, TN on August 12, 1923 to the late George Walter and Amy Lillian Chandler Webster. She was also preceded in death by her first husband, Eddie O’Neal Cook and her second husband, Jack Grigsby; siblings, Ernest Webster, Nellie McElroy, Annie Adams, Thelma Krisle, Louise Powell; sons-in-law, Bobby Wilkinson and Bill Hendricks.
She was the oldest member of Greenbrier First Baptist Church. She enjoyed cooking, painting, sewing and ceramics. She was a very creative and resourceful person. She enjoyed volunteering for Meals on Wheels, Jessie Holman Jones Hospital in Springfield and at the election polls.
She is survived by daughters, Joyce (Robert) Hendricks Murphy of Greenbrier, Linda (Ron) Morton of Clarksville, Sue Cook of Greenbrier, Kathy Wilkinson of Brentwood; grandchildren, Susan DeLouche, Jason Kolb, Neal Morton, Jeffrey Kolb, Mandy Bicsak; 11 great-grandchildren and 9 great-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Greenbrier First Baptist Church or the Greenbrier Historical Society.
