Funeral service for, 86, will be Friday, November 8, 2013 at 11:00 AM at Hartselle Church of Christ with Phillip Hines officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. The body will lie in state at the church for one hour prior to the Service. Burial will be in Hartselle Memory Gardens. Visitation will be Thursday, November 7, 2013 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Hartselle Church of Christ.
Mr. Garner died on Tuesday, November 5, 2013 at Decatur Morgan Hospital. He was born March 7, 1927, in Morgan County to Samuel Garner and Emma Wright Garner. Mr. Garner was a veteran of the United States Army and was formerly employed at Wolverine Tube as a machine operator. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers: Jack Garner and “Little” Sammy Garner and two sisters: Allie Mae Bates and Martha Johnson.

Michael Garner
