Ethel Benson Reed, 85, of Huntsville passed away Friday at a local hospital. Mrs. Reed was a native of Jackson County and a resident of Madison County since 1955. She was a member of Lakewood United Methodist Church. Mrs. Reed was preceded in death by one daughter: Donna Jo Reed. Survivors include her husband of 66 years: William Jackson Reed; two sons: William Burce Reed and Dale Claburn Reed; five grandchildren: Jennifer Renee Abernathy, Amanda Diane James, Cheryl Odessa Greene, Ashley Diane Holman and Dale Claburn Reed, Jr. and nine great- grandchildren. Visitation will be Tuesday from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Berryhill Funeral Home followed by a Chapel service at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Randy VanLandingham officiating. Burial will follow in Huntsville Memory Gardens.
