Esther Powell Robinson 96 0f the Boaz, Aroney community passed away Saturday May 18, 2019 at the home of her daughter, Freida Allen.
Mrs. Robinson was preceded in death by husband of 48 years, Beamon Powell, and husband of ten years Leslie Robinson, four brothers, and one sister.
Mrs. Robinson is survived by four children: Joyce Windsor and the late Billy Windsor of Albertville, Al.
Harold Powell, wife Lynn of Madison, Al. Freida Allen, of Lacey’s Spring, Al., and Mark Powell, wife Ginger of Sardis, Al. 10 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, sister, Marjorie Perry of Haden Al., and Charles King of Coral Springs, Florida.
Mrs. Robinson sewed for the public, taught piano, taught Sunday School, and played piano for Mt. Zion Baptist church. She loved singing and piano and wrote several songs. She and her husband Beamon sang and ministered at churches and funerals all over North Alabama.
Mrs. Robinson was a member of the Albertville Senior Center for 30 years where she played the piano and served as activity director.
Esther Powell Robinson will be greatly missed by her loving family, and friends.
Her Funeral Service will be 4 p.m. Thursday, May 23, 2019 at Albertville Memorial Chapel with burial to follow at Mt. Zion Cemetery. Visitation will be 2:30 until 4 before service on Thursday. Rev. Whitt Hibbs will be officiating. Pallbearers will be Jason Windsor, Shannon Massey, John David Broussard, Will Broussard and Dustan Powell.
