Mr. White was a proud veteran, serving in the United States Navy, United States Air Force, and the United States National Guard. He joined the Navy as a young 17-year old and served in the Korean War, on the Navy hospital ship, the USS Consolation.
In addition to being a great patriot, he also previously served his community as Fire Chief and City Council Member for the Town of Good Hope. He was a servant to all and was tireless in his dedication to others.
He was an avid Kentucky basketball fan and loved Alabama football, as well. But he would quickly tell you, his greatest enjoyment was his family, especially his children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren. He lived a long, beautiful, meaningful life and he will be missed greatly.
