Ernest Randolph Wells, 93, of Paintsville, KY, died December 18, 2014. Visitation will be at Canaan Methodist Church on December 21, 2014 from 1 – 2p.m. The Service will be at 2p.m. with Chuck Cannerery officiating. Interment will be at Canaan Cemetery.
Ernie was born in West Liberty, KY to the late Ernest Wells and Roxie Wells – Baldwin.
Mr. Wells was proceeded in death by his wife of 22 years, Mildred Wright Wells; step – father, Buster Baldwin; brothers, Walter, Gene and Billy Ray Wells; sister, Ernestine Wells
He is survived by sister, Frances Crisp (Martin, KY); brothers, James Baldwin (Paintsville, KY), Clarence Baldwin (Wilsonville, AL); sister – in – law, Lois Rhodes (Florence, AL); as – well – as a host of nieces and nephews.
Ernie was retired from the U.S. Navy after 20+ years of service. He also retired from the Navy Ship Yard in Philadelphia, PA and was a mail carrier for the U.S. Postal Service.
