Funeral for Ernest Paul Robinson, age 84, of Decatur will be today, October 22, 2015 at 2 p.m. at Central Baptist Church of Decatur with Rev. Dr. Rob Jackson and Rev. Brian Blass officiating and Shelton Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends two hours prior to the service. Entombment will be in East Lawrence Memorial Gardens Mausoleum.
Mr. Robinson, who died Monday, October 19, 2015, at Decatur Morgan Hospital, was born February 18, 1931, in Kentucky to Clarence Robinson and Martha Richardson Robinson. He was preceded in death by his wife of 62 years, Freddie Middleton Robinson and nine siblings.
He is survived by one son, Michael Robinson (Amy); two daughters, Deborah Robinson of Decatur and Donna Smith (Terry) of Somerville; six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
