Ernest Lafayette McClure Jr., age 90, of Florence, passed away Friday, Nov. 2, 2012.
Visitation will be noon-2 p.m. today at Elkins Funeral Home of Florence. Services will be in the chapel at 2 p.m., with Kenneth Davis officiating. Burial will be at Tri-Cities Cemetery, with pallbearers being family and friends.
Ernest was preceded by his wife, Mary E. McClure; his parents, Ernest Sr. and Leila McClure; and a brother, John McClure.
He is survived by nine nephews and five nieces.
Ernest was retired from TVA, a member of Wood Avenue Church of Christ, a honorary member of the Masons and served our country in the Army. He also loved volunteering for many different causes and events.
