Funeral service for Eric Ward, 42, will be today, September 20, 2014, at 1 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Tim Rayburn officiating with burial in New Friendship Cemetery. Visitation was Friday night, September 19, 2014, from 6 to 8 at the funeral home.
Mr. Ward died on Wednesday, September 17, 2014, at his residence. He was born May 24, 1972, in Morgan County to Jimmy Grant Ward and Dorothy Lee Frazier. He was preceded in death by his father and his sister, Lydia Ward.
Survivors include his wife, Christine Ward; four children, C.J. Richards, New York City, NY, Desiree Richards, NY, Allison Richards, Myrtle Beach, SC, Danny Goodrich, NY; one brother, Jamie Ward (Renae), Scottsboro; mother and stepfather, Dorothy Key (Rayburn), Priceville;
mother and father in law, Richard and Martha DeMeo, Myrtle Beach, SC; grandchildren,
Logan, Ayva, NY; nieces and nephews, Dustin, Zack, Alex, Aleidra, Britney, and Courtney; and his beloved dog, “Bama”.
Pallbearers will be C.J. Richards, Danny Goodrich, Terry Ledbetter, Charley
Frazier, Robert Key and Troy Frazier.
