Enell P. Couch, 80 of Arab Alabama died Thursday, November 24, 2016 at her son’s residence.
Mrs. Couch was born December 9, 1935 in Marshall County to Tarry Ascot Pendergrass and Johnnie Martin Pendergrass. She recently retired from the U.S. Army Aviation and Missile Command after 50 years of service as a supervisor. Mrs. Couch also ran a poultry farm for 25 years with her husband Jesse Couch who preceded her in death November 17, 2000. She was a member of the Amanda King Chapter 472 of the Eastern Star of Arab and a member of Gilliam Springs Baptist Church.
She is survived by her sons and daughter-in-law: Jesse Todd and Diane Couch and Timothy Michael Couch; her grandchildren: Emily Amanda Couch, Jacob Michael Couch and Luke Brandon Couch and a great grandchild: Ella Rae Couch. She was preceded in death by her husband Jesse Sheffield Couch; her parents: Tarry Pendergrass and Johnnie Martin Kennamer and a brother: Bobby Pendergrass.
Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday November 26, 2016 at Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel with Brother: Randy L. Blakely, officiating. Burial will be in Gilliam Springs Cemetery with Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel, directing.
Pallbearers will be Jimmy Johnson, David Couch, Joseph Couch, Jake Couch, Luke Couch and Monty Pike.
Visitation will be 12:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. at Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel prior to the service.
