Funeral services for Emma Corinne Hollis, 90, of Cullman, will be 10 a.m. on Saturday, December 14, 2013 at Cullman Funeral Home Chapel with interment in New Prospect Cemetery.

Cullman Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Hollis passed away Wednesday, Dec. 11, at Golden Living Center. She was born May 6, 1923 to parents William G. and Emma W. Moellenkamp Dickson, Jr. Corinne was a missionary Emeritus with the International Mission Board of the Southern Baptist Convention having retired after 40 years service in Southeast Asia. Sister, Wife, Grandmother, Great-grandmother, Missionary, School Principal, Teacher, Farmer & Friend, our loss is Heaven’s gain. Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of His saints.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, of 62 years, James Dewey Hollis; two brothers, Richard Dickson and John Dickson.

Survivors include one sister, Mary Louise Elliot; 9 children John (Kathy) Hollis, Mary (Gordon) Watson, Martha (George) Wentzel, Rebecca Crow, James Hollis, David Hollis, Paul (Felicia) Hollis, Joseph (Vanessa) Hollis and Benjamin Hollis, 26 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and a host of family and friends.

Visitation will be Friday night 6-9 p.m. at the funeral home.
