On Thursday, May 8, 2025, Emily Glass Fife went to be with Jesus. She was a native of Lawrence County Tennessee. She was a member of Dunn Methodist Church.She is preceded in death by her niece Deanna Boston, parents L.G. and Evelyn Glass, and a sister Linda Robertson. She is survived by two sisters Mable Mosley and Ruthie Glass.
She is survived by several nieces and nephews. Emily has four children Tricia (David) Waller of Java, VA. Gretchen (Johnnie) Vaughn of Goode, VA. Karol (Joey) Hall of Lebanon, TN. Patrick (Mary) Fife of Lawrenceburg, TN. Emily has six grandchildren Will and Luke Vaughn, Korben and Haden Hanley and Hopelynn Fife, and Carrie Clarke (Jan). She has two great-grandchildren, J.E.B. Clarke and Thomas Clarke.
Her children would like to thank everyone who visited, sent cards, provided meals and helped whenever she needed assistance, especially her neighbors, church family, and Barbara Damascus. Thank you all for your friendship. A very special thank you to Caris. Thank you to NHC Home Health. Thank you to Kelly and Shonda for the compassion you gave to mom for so many years.
Visitation will be held at Pettus-Turnbo Funeral Home on Saturday, May 10th, 2025 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. The funeral service will begin at 12:00 p.m. Brother Glenn Sharpton and Luke Vaughn will be officiating.
Interment will be held at Dunn Methodist Cemetery.
