emilyEmily Ann Skidmore, 32, died Saturday, Feb. 13, 2016, at ECM Hospital. She was born in Tupelo, Mississippi, and was an RN working with Home Health as a certified coder.
Services will be Tuesday, Feb. 16, at 2 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel, Red Bay, Alabama, with Brother Nick Woods officiating. Burial will be in Franklin Memorial Gardens, Russellville, Alabama. Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay, Alabama, will be in charge of arrangements.
Survivors are her husband, Tyler Skidmore, of Russellville; her mother, Linda Lewey (Hugh Scott), and her father, Horace Lewey (Pam), all of Russellville; her sister, Amy Oliver (Brandon), of Russellville; niece, Caitlyn Oliver; godson, James Ryder “J.R.” King; stepbrother, Jon Pruitt and his son, Blake; father- and mother-in-law, Rickey and Pam Skidmore; and countless friends.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Ray and Agnes Townsend, and Oscar and Gladys Lewey.
Pallbearers will be Rickey Skidmore, Brandon Oliver, Heath King, Robby Entrekin, Kelly Bragwell and Jon Pruitt.
Visitation will be Tuesday, Feb. 16, 11 a.m.-2 p.m., at Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay, Alabama.
