Elton Waycaster “Mississippi”, age 84 of Jasper, went home to his Master on August 22, 2020 at his residence.
The family will receive friends at Goodsprings Full Gospel Church of God in Goodsprings, Alabama, where he was a member for 45 years, at 1:00 p.m. on August 26, 2020, funeral services will follow at 2:00 p.m. Burial will follow at Bennett Cemetery in Thatch. Rev. Ben Godwin and Rev. Dewey Williams will officiate.
He was preceded in death by his Parents-Mottie and Elton Waycaster; Mother-in-law and Father-in-law- Pauline and Barney Utley; Two Sisters; Four Brothers; Great Grandson-Lucas Pugh.
He is survived by his Wife of 64 years-Ann Waycaster; Daughter-Debra Pugh (Raymond); Grandsons-Brandon (Amie) and Blake (Emily); Great Grandchildren-Savannah, Jazmine, Bella, Connor, Bryson and Jace; Sister and Brother-in-law-Bonnie and George Phillips; Sister-in-law-Donna Waycaster; Host of nieces and nephews; Church family, other family and friends.
