Elsie Marie Brown, age 93 of Winthrop Harbor, IL. Formerly of Splunge community, Ms. passed away Friday March 23, 2018 at her home in IL. Graveside service will be held on Saturday May 5, 2018 at 2:00 pm at Wesley Chapel cemetery in Detroit, Al. Bro. Dale Whitlock will officiate.
Elsie Marie was born March 23, 1925 in Splunge community in Ms. to the late Connie Roberts and Lillian Thornhill Roberts. She enjoyed sewing, crocheting, and cooking.

Daughter Margaret Ann Townsley, Winthrop Harbor, Illinois. Son Jimmy V (Ruth) Brown, Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin. Daughter Patricia Lynn (David) Haines, Winthrop Harbor, Illinois. Daughter Deborah Marie (Dennis) Decker, Winthrop Harbor, Illinois. Two sisters Jeanette Walker and Analou Price, two brothers Fred (Jean) Roberts and Johnny (Marj) Roberts.
10 grand children, 16 great grand children, and 3 great great grand children.
