Elnora S. Garner Funeral service for Elnora Standridge Garner, 85, will be Thursday, October 17, 2024 at 1:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Jack Bailey officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in Herring Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday, October 17, 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home.

Mrs. Garner passed away on Tuesday, October 15, 2024 at Riverside Senior Living. She was born November 14, 1938, in Lawrence County, to Julius L. Standridge and Ruby Lee Williams Standridge.

She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, who loved and took great care of her family. Her boys meant the world to her. She was a hard worker. She was employed by the Morgan County School System as a Bus Driver for 20 years, and also worked for the United States Postal Service for 15 years, as a mail carrier for the Falkville area, prior to her retirement. Mrs. Garner was a member of the McKendree Methodist Church and grew up in the Neel Community of Morgan County.

Preceded her in death were her husband; Charles E. Garner, her parents, and siblings; Carrie Jane Oxford, Marisa Jo Johnson, James Kenneth Standridge, Billy Ray Standridge, and Jerry Lee Standridge.

Rosemarie Garner.

Ten Great Grandchildren

Grandsons will be pallbearers.
