Mrs. Elizabeth Guffey Tidwell, age 85, of Pisgah, Alabama passed away on Wednesday, May 7, 2025.
She is survived by her daughters, Denise Gamble, Tammy (James) Casey; sons, Michael Johnson, Anthony (Shannon) Gamble; 5 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; brother, Norman (Edwina) Benson; several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Keller Tidwell; and sister, Geraldine Blevins.
Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, May 12, 2025 at the Scottsboro Funeral Home. Burial will take place immediately following the funeral at Goosepond Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home beginning at 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 10, 2025.
