Elbert Lee “E.J.” Mason, Jr, 74, of Tuscumbia passed away on Saturday, May 13, 2017. There will be a private family memorial service with Bro. Darrell Pace officiating.
E.J. was a heavy equipment operator through the Operators Local 320 and a member of Calvary Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his father, Elbert Lee Mason, Sr. who died during WWII; parents, Wilmer and Lorene Harrison; and sister, Patricia Wallace.
E.J. is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Nancy Mason; daughters, Kimberly Stewart and Kelly Mason Hudson; son, Scott Mason; 9 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; his loyal and faithful companions, Copper and Lily; and many special friends.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital or the Wounded Warriors Project.
