Edward Lee Butler, 79, of Rogersville passed away Friday, May 23, 2025. Ed served in the United States Army as a Specialist for the Department of Defense. He was a commercial fisherman who truly loved what he did.
Visitation for Mr. Butler will be Sunday, June 8th from 2-4 with a memorial service following, at Words of Truth Baptist Church in Anderson. Jerry Marlow will be officiating.
Ed is survived by his wife, June Butler; son, Michael Butler; granddaughter, Leslie (Maribeth) Williams; great-granddaughter, Kylee Butler; sister, Sylb Smith; special nieces and nephews, Phillip (Denita) Butler, Jennifer (Tina) Butler, Sandra Phillips and Sam (Mechelle) Magill.
