On Wednesday, February 8, 2023, Edward C. “Cuz” Finch, age 81 of Cowan, passed away at Southern Tennessee Regional Health Systems. Edward was born on September 24, 1941, to the late Edward Porter and Louise (Warren) Finch. He proudly served his country in the United States Army and was a Vietnam veteran. Before his retirement, he was employed by the Tennessee State Forestry Department. His hobbies included reading and watching sporting events, but he most enjoyed riding motorcycles with his friends. He had made several cross-country trips and was very proud of the fact that he had visited every state except for three. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Judy Harris; and wife, Wanda Finch (they did not share any children). Edward is survived by his sister, Kathy (Frank) Smith of Hazel Green, Alabama; nephew, Shane (Amber) Miller of Tullahoma; and niece, Marti Harris Plaster of Ringo, Georgia. Visitation will be from 12-2pm on Saturday, February 11, 2023, at Moore-Cortner Funeral Home. Graveside Services will immediately follow at Franklin Memorial Gardens.
