Mrs. Burton loved God and served Him wholeheartedly. She considered Hope Church of Muscle Shoals to be her home. There’s nothing she wouldn’t do for her family, and you didn’t have to be related to be considered family. She was a caregiver to many… family, friends, neighbors, so many. Many of them called her Dr. Burton, even though she had no degree. She always had enough love to go around. She was a giver, not a taker. She may have had an old body, but she had a young spirit. She loved being outside in her yard, planting and taking care of her flowers and pecan trees. She couldn’t stand for a squirrel to get her pecans. She was always the life of the party. She would always say “The fun is already been made, all you have to do is laugh.”
Special thanks to Amedisys Hospice and Dr. Ridgeway for your loving care and support. Thank you to Hope Church for your prayers and loving support of our family.
Pallbearers will be Justin Burton, Anthony Burton, Devaughn Ricketts, Jeremy Winkelmann, Joseph Winkelmann, and Jack Davis.
