Funeral Service for Mrs. Edna George Willis, 87, of Alexander City, Alabama, was Monday, Jan. 2, 2017 at 11 a.m. at the First Baptist Church. Reverend Dr. Gerald Hallmark officiated. Burial was in the Alexander City Cemetery. The family will received friends on Monday, Jan. 2, 2017 from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at First Baptist Church.

Mrs. Willis passed away on Friday, Dec. 30, 2016 at her residence. She was born on Febr. 17, 1929 in DeKalb County, Alabama to George Ward Hulme and Julia Edna Hulme. She was an active member of First Baptist Church. Mrs. Willis loved spending time with her grandchildren, reading and traveling. She was an Auburn graduate and avid Auburn fan.

She is survived by her daughter, Debby O’Steen (Tim), of Florence, Alabama; grandchildren, Glenn O’Steen, Brenna O’Steen, and Will O’Steen.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Clay Willis; her parents; and sister, Gene Hulme.
