Mrs. Edna Floyd Walters, age 90 of Skyline, went to her Heavenly home on Tuesday, March 4, 2025. She was a member of the Skyline Free Holiness Church since 1976. She loved working in her yard and growing many flowers.
Mrs. Walters is survived by her granddaughter, Martha (Shane) Jones; one great granddaughter, Kyndall Jones (fiancé Jayden Miotke); son-in-law, Jerry (Etta) Wilhelm; siblings, Euna Faye Venable, Brenda Shafer, and Charles (Sherran) Shafer; brother-in-law, Fritz Kohlschreiber; and a host of nieces and nephews, along with a group of cherished friends, Sadie Arnold, Paula Arnold, Darrell and Tamara Gray, and Wanda Owens.
She was preceded in death by her father and mother, Wilson and Ada Shafer; daughter, Marsha Wilhelm; grandson, Brian Wilhelm; siblings, Shelby Kohlschreiber, Belva Shafer, Lawrence (Debbie) Shafer; brother-in-law, Calvin Venable; and nephew, Mike Venable.
The Graveside Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, March 8, 2025 at 1:00 a.m. at Cedar Hill Cemetery with Bro. Blake Gifford, and Bro. Darrell Gray officiating. The family will receive friends Friday, March 7, 2025 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
