Edith Tanner Anderson was born June 8, 1956 in Halls, TN, the daughter of the late Nolin and Ottie Gardner Tanner.
Edith was a member of the First Christian Church in Selmer, Tennessee. She was a Teachers Assistant at the Selmer Middle School. She loved spending time with her family and her two chiwawas, Daisy and Chee Chee. Her children were the most important thing in this world to her and they couldn’t have asked for a better mother.
Mrs. Anderson departed this life on April 1, 2015 in Selmer, Tennessee at the age of 58 Years, 9 Months, 24 Days.
She is survived by a daughter, Mindy Anderson and companion Jeff Linam of Selmer, TN; a stepson, Brent Anderson and wife Shannon of Savannah, TN; four sisters: Janice Ring and husband Ricky of Michie, TN, Brenda Horton of Selmer, TN, Pamela Weeks and fiance Jerry Russom of Selmer, TN, Delaine Tanner of Selmer, TN; two brothers, Hugh Tanner and wife Joyce of Lawton, TN, Paul Tanner and wife Elizabeth of Selmer, TN; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and brother-in-laws.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Anderson was preceded in death by her husband,William F. (Bill) Anderson Jr.; a son, Tanner Logan Anderson and a brother-in-law, Lee Tanner.
