Edith Odean Arcese, 71, of Florence, passed away March 31, 2025, at her residence. She was retired from the School Board of Broward County, Florida, and a Christian. Survivors include: Son: Joseph John Arcese (Ali) Daughter: Lisa Arcese Spampinato (John) Sisters: Jacqueline Sue Hill & Linda Faye Behel Brother: Robert Quincy Hill (13) Nieces & nephews (13) Great nieces & nephews (9) Great-great nieces & nephews Preceded in death by: Husband: David Joseph Arcese Mother: Willie Mae Gamble Hill Father: Quincy Oneal Hill Sisters: Rita Darlene Howard & Kathy Diane Hill Niece: Bridget Deon Smith Nephews: Anthony Trey Gist & Rocky Behel Visitation will be Saturday, April 5, 2025, from 9:00am – 11:00am, at Greenhill Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 11:00am, in the funeral home chapel, with Terry Wright officiating. Burial will be at Emmaline Stutts Cemetery. Nephews will serve as pallbearers.
