Funeral for Edith Earline Reeves, 83, of Moulton will be Wednesday, June 26, 2013, at noon at Parkway Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Scotty Letson officiating. Burial will be in Red Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until noon at the funeral home.
Mrs. Reeves, who died Sunday, June 23, 2013, at NHC Healthcare, was born July 26, 1929, in Lawrence County to Robert and Mamie Sandlin. She was a nursing assistant at Decatur General Hospital for more than 20 years. She attended Courtland Baptist Church. Her brother, Milford Sandlin, preceded her in death.
She is survived by one son, Boyce “Buckwheat” Reeves and wife, Sonya, of Hartselle; one daughter, Brenda R. Lambert and husband, Billy Joe, of Courtland; two grandchildren, Brian Reeves and Casey and Anna Reeves Dutton and Jamie; and two great-grandchildren, Presley Reeves and Peyton Reeves.
Pallbearers will be Brian Reeves, Jamie Dutton, Chad Sims, Bob Wiley, Jerry Pruitt and Rudy McCarley.
