Eddie Wayne Tidwell, age 58, of Muscle Shoals, died Thursday, January 30, 2014. Visitation will be Wednesday, February 5, 2014, 12-3 p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home of Tuscumbia. His funeral service will follow in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Neal Wright officiating. Burial will be in Barton Cemetery.
Eddie was a native of the Shoals area and was previously employed with Wal-Mart.
He is survived by his wife of thirty five years, Janet Tidwell of Muscle Shoals; daughters, Kristen Tidwell Sims and Anna Tidwell Grott, both of Huntsville, Dawn Turpin of Colorado Springs; brothers, Grover Tidwell of Sheffield, Monroe Tidwell of Hamilton, Leon Tidwell of Muscle Shoals, Joel Lee Tidwell of Tuscumbia; sisters, Clementine “Tina” Stodgell of Peru, IN, Rita Kathleen Montesi-Baerlin of Memphis, TN, Darlene Smith of Muscle Shoals and grand-daughters, Grace, Samantha, McKenzie, Brandee and Bailee.
Pallbearers are Joshua Smith, Trey Tidwell, T. J. Tidwell, Adam Tidwell, Frankie Guzman and Todd Cochran.
