Eddie Dean Mitchell, age 40, of Muscle Shoals, died Friday, May 23, 2014. The family will have a memorial service on Tuesday, May 27, at 6:00 p.m., at Morrison Funeral Home, Tuscumbia. Mark Linder and Joe Roublin will officiate. A private burial will be held in Guy Cemetery at a later date.
Mr. Mitchell was a member of The Dwelling Place Church of Florence. He was preceded in death by his birth mother, Helen Elaine Briley, father, General Thomas Mitchell, and grandparents, General Jackson and Helen Mae Mitchell.
Survivors include mother, Judy Henson; son, Thomas Mitchell; brothers, Jeff and Tim Mitchell; sisters, Shelaine Gillette and Jennifer Hale; grandchildren, Thomas Mitchell Jr. and Nevaeh Mitchell; as well as beloved nephews, cousins, and friends.
