Earnest James Franks, age 85, of Nauvoo, passed away on Tuesday, January 31, 2017, with family by his side, at Walker Baptist Medical Center.
The family will receive friends on Friday, February 3, 2017 at 12:30 p.m. at Collins-Burke Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Friday, February 3, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. in the Collins-Burke Chapel, with burial at Ashbank Cemetery. Heath Franks and Hugh Cavender will officiate.
Mr. Franks was preceded in death by his Wife of 64 years-Minnie Lee (Davis) Franks; Son-Michael Wayne Franks; Father and Mother-Dee and Virgie Franks; Brothers-Emmet, Fred, Charlie and Lee Franks; Sister-Annie Lou (Franks) Leighton; Daughter-in-law-Vickie (Weaver) Franks.
He is survived by 3 children-Ramona Garrison, Carey Franks (Janet) and Rhonda Hall (Maurice); Special Son-Albert Franks (Sandra); Grandchildren-Chris Franks, Jennifer Pedraza, Brian Holcomb, Angela Cameron, Cliff Garrison, Heath Franks and Mandy Pierce; 14 Grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Carey Franks, Chris Franks, Heath Franks, Brian Holcomb, Cliff Garrison and Joe Clancey.
