Earl Dean Walker – Obituary

Earl Dean Walker, 79, died Tuesday, January 16, 2018, at the Sanctuary Hospice House. He was born May 12, 1938, to Benjamin Otis and Annie Jane Wood Walker. He worked in the grocery business. He was a U.S. Veteran, serving in the Army during Korean War. He was a history buff, enjoyed watching old movies, and watching sports, especially the Ole Miss Rebels.

Private Services will be Thursday, January 18, at the McNeece-Morris Funeral Home Chapel in Fulton. Burial will be in the Hillcrest Masonic Cemetery.

Survivors include the mother his children, Joyce Smith Walker of Tupelo; three daughters, Deanna Ashcraft of Chattanooga, TN, Sherry Spencer of Tupelo, and Heather Redwood (Andy) of Tupelo; one sister, Faye Gray (Hilman) of Fulton; six grandchildren, Jordan Ashcraft, Bo Ashcraft, Sawyer Spencer, Sadler Spencer, Katie Taylor, and Parks Taylor.

He was preceded in death by three brothers, Roy Murl Walker, Bill Walker, and Wayne Walker; two sisters, Stella Johnson and Jean Guntharp; and his parents.

Public Visitation will be from Noon until 2:00 p.m. Thursday, January 18, at the McNeece-Morris Funeral Home in Fulton.

In lieu of flowers, Memorials may be made to Sanctuary Hospice House.
