Dwight Waits, 71, of Moulton passed away Monday, July 26, 2021 at Lawrence Medical Center. Visitation will be from 9:00 AM till 10:00 AM on Saturday, July 31, 2021 at Moulton Memory Gardens. A graveside service will follow with Jeff Armbrester officiating at 10:00 AM following the visitation at Moulton Memory Gardens. Burial will be in Moulton Memory Gardens.
Dwight was a 1967 graduate of Lawrence County High School. He was a car salesman for thirty plus years and enjoyed his family, spending time on his cattle farm and Auburn Football.
Survivors include his daughter; Kristal Walling (Brent), two grandchildren; Kelsey Rae Walling and Gunnar Walling (Taylor), one great granddaughter; Mattaline Faye Walling, one sister; Lennette Waits Steele (James) and one brother; Michael Ray Waits (June).
He was preceded in death by his parents; Ray and Vivian Waits.
Pallbearers will be Ricky Hood, Matt Steele, Gunnar Walling, Stanley McMahan, Greg Nelson and Brent Walling. Honorary Pallbearers will be Roland Heflin, Randy Heflin and Mark Heflin.
The family extends special thanks to all of his great neighbors.
