dwightDwight Shaddrix passed away Friday, Dec. 18, 2015. The funeral will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. in Roselawn Funeral Home Chapel of Decatur with Pastor Phillip Hines, Brother Marvin Turney, and Brother Howard Dickinson officiating. Vistiation will be Monday from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mr. Shaddrix was an avid golfer, who loved his family and the time spent with them. He was a huge Alabama fan, shouting “Roll Tide!” at every opportunity. Mr. Shaddrix was employed by General Electric for 28 years.
He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Joyce Shaddrix; son, Steven Shaddrix; daughter, Christie Johnson; grandchildren, Emily Motes, Carlee Motes, Zach Ward, Hayden Williams, Halli Flannagan, and Jami Dean; great-granddaughter, Hadlee Flannagan; stepsons, Tommy Hayes and Michael Hayes; stepdaughter, Tracy Dean; also six sisters and three brothers.
Pallbearers will consist of close friends and family.
