DECATUR-The Decatur Police Department’s Organized Crime Unit made a drug bust on Wednesday, January 28th at an apartment on Morgan Avenue. Here is the Decatur Police describe events:
SYNOPSIS OF OFFENSE & ARREST:
On January 28, 2015, members of the Decatur Police Department’s Organized Crime Unit and Anti Crime Unit went to 2005 Morgan Avenue Apt#3 Decatur, AL in reference to a follow up drug complaint. Investigators made contact with several occupants in the apartment. During the course of the investigation Officers located drug use and sale paraphernalia in the residence. Charles McCormick and Summer Smith gave Officers false information about their identity and further investigation revealed that they were Fugitives from Justice out of the State of Florida.
The following is a list of those arrested and information concerning their respective arrest.
1. Mary Francis Stewart was arrested and charged with Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Stewart’s bond has been set at $500.00.
2. Sagittarius Carlisle was arrested and charged with Loitering. Carlisle bond has been set at $500.00.
3. Christopher Ricks was arrested and charged with Loitering. Ricks is currently on Probation with Decatur City and his probation has been revoked.
4. Carmella Booth was arrested and charged with Loitering. Booth’s bond has been set at $500.00
5. Eric Exline (D.O.B. 2/3/1980), of 5424 Shore Ln Milton, FL 32570. Exline was arrested and charged with Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Loitering. Exline’s bond has been set at $1000.000.
6. Charles Brian McCormick (D.O.B. 10/24/1975), of 2967 North 25th Avenue Milton, FL 32583. McCormick was arrested for Loitering, Giving False Name to a Law Enforcement Officer and had a warrant through Santa Rosa FL for Felony Probation Violation. McCormick bond has been set at $1,000.00. McCormick will later be transferred to Santa Rosa County Jail in FL.
7. Summer Ilene Smith (D.O.B. 9/7/1984), of 1477 Wendy Ln. Gulf Breeze FL. Smith was arrested for Loitering, Giving False Name to a Law Enforcement Officer and had a warrant through Santa Rosa FL for Felony Grand Larceny. Smith’s bond has been set at $1,000.00. Smith will later be transferred to Santa Rosa County Jail in FL.
