GUNTERSVILLE-Fried Red Fish with Crawfish E’toufee, Wild Turkey Tetrazinni and Elk Stew were just a few of the tasty dishes found at the Alabama Wildlife Federation / Alabama Army National Guard Guntersville Wild Game Cook-Off and Silent Auction last Saturday, May 10, 2014, at Civitan Park in Guntersville, Alabama! With 15 cook teams and approximately 350 members and guests in attendance, Dream Ranch including Will Ainsworth, Jeff Kist, Bud Sims and Matt Everett captured the top prize of “Best Overall,” with their delicious Dream Sausage.

Fish Division: First Place – Perennial Lawn Care including Keith Jenkins, Chad Whittington, Arthur Cross and Larry Moore cooking Fried Red Fish with Crawfish E’touffee; Second Place – Plus P’s including Scott Pellowski, Mark Pellowski, Hayden Rungruany, Chiller Opolka, Brad Helton, Kevin Rarestraw and Cameron Boyd cooking Frog Leg Lollipops; Third Place – Bootlegg BBQ including Mike Page, Kedia Page and Alicia Hardin cooking Mucho Fisho.
Fowl Division: First Place – Crossfire Cookers including Tim and Rita Gilbert cooking Wild Turkey Tetrazinni;Second Place – Wing N It including Bart Muse, Jeff Perdum and Luke Barker cooking Blackened Turkey Alfredo; Third Place – Plus P’s including Scott Pellowski, Mark Pellowski, Hayden Rungruany, Chiller Opolka, Brad Helton, Kevin Rarestraw and Cameron Boyd cooking Quail Fried Rice.
Game Division: First Place – Dream Ranch including Will Ainsworth, Jeff Kist, Bud Sims and Matt Everett cooking Dream Sausage; Second Place – Hill Top Boys including Alan Porter and Stacey Isom cooking Elk Stew; Third Place – Chonita’s Cookers including Severa McGrady, Mark McGrady and Angel Davis cooking Big Buck Pizza.
Pot Luck Division Winner – Kawasaki Cookers including Scott Fleming, Cameron Simmons, Bailey Evans and Angela Blakely cooking Pot Luck Jambalaya.
The Alabama Army National Guard People’s Choice Award went to Plus P’s scrumptious dish. Best Presentation Award went to Chonita’s Cookers and the Presentation Runner-Up Award went to Hill Top Boys.
