Dovie IDella “June” Guffey Hill, age 71 of Tullahoma, passed away on Thursday, February 8, 2024, at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born on April 20, 1952, in Scottsboro, Alabama. June worked for the City of Tullahoma as a jailer, Auxiliary Police Officer, City Court Clerk, and for the Finance Department. She was preceded in death by her parents, James Leonard and Birdie Mae Guffey; grandparents, James Ivery and Ada Dovie Guffey; and great-grandparents, Raymond Bruce and IDella Ballew; son, Robert Adam Hill; brother, John William Guffey; and sister, Shirley May Guffey. June is survived by her husband of fifty-four years, Robert Ernest Hill Jr of Tullahoma; son, James Michel (Molly) Hill of Tullahoma; daughter-in-law, Cassander Hill Garibotte; brother, James Raymond Guffey of Tullahoma; grandchildren, Josh Adam (Alison) Hill of Arkansas, Austin Dakota (Selena) Hill of Tullahoma, and Savannah Rose (Payton) Hill of Tullahoma; and five great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 11am-1pm on Sunday, February 11, 2024, at Moore-Cortner Funeral Home. Funeral Services will follow at 1:00 pm in the Chapel of Moore-Cortner Funeral Home with Pastor Tony Ballew officiating. Interment will follow at Winchester Memorial Park with Derek Statham, Logan Statham, Manuel Statham, Josh Hill, Austin Hill, Payton Brown, and Charley Payne serving as pallbearers.
