Doug McMahan, 72, of Corinth, Mississippi, died Thursday, October 23, 2014, at Magnolia Regional Health Center in Corinth. He enjoyed gardening, and going for long walks around town. He also enjoyed traveling, and drove through 49 states. He was the owner and operator of McMahan Used Cars. Visitation is scheduled for 5 until 9 PM on Saturday, October 25 at Cutshall Funeral Home in Glen. Funeral services are scheduled for 1 PM on Sunday, October 26, 2014, at Cutshall Funeral Home Chapel in Glen, officiated by Bro. Jimmy Daniel. Interment will follow in Henry Cemetery. He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Sylvia Grisham McMahan of Corinth; 1 daughter – Evelyn Bright (Larry) of Walnut; 3 sisters – Nellie Miller (Elmer) of Michie, TN; Hazel McMahan of Corinth; and Martha Qualls (Roger) of Michie, TN; 1 granddaughter – Candy Bright of Walnut; 1 grandson – Jordan Bright (Nichole) of Walnut; and 3 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Jan McMahan; his parents, Jack and Florence McMahan; and his brother, James McMahan.
