Dorothy Mae Flynn, age 75 of Cherokee, died on Monday July 13, 2015. Her visitation will be Tuesday, July 14th, 2015 from 3:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home, Cherokee. The funeral service will be Wednesday, July 15th, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Scott Livingston officiating. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery in Fort Smith, AR.
Dorothy was a native of Cherokee, AL and she faithfully attended the First Baptist Church of Cherokee. She was preceded in death by her husband, Hester Edward Flynn; parents, Arthur and Minda Wallace; brother, Thomas Wallace; stepsons, Michael, David and Tim Flynn; and stepdaughter, Margaret Bane.
She is survived by her son Stanley Junior Wadkins (Tammy); daughter, Teresa Deanna Cole (James); stepdaughter Mary Barett; sisters, Beaulah Parker, Grace Wadkins, Sybil Bolten, and Willodean Byrd; seventeen grandchildren and twenty-two great-grandchildren.
