Dorothy Leona Roberts, age 67 of Winchester, passed away on Thursday, November 16, 2023, at her residence surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Nashville on August 8, 1956. Before her retirement, she had been employed as a sewing machine operator at Oshkosh. She enjoyed watching sports, especially NASCAR and Alabama football, and treasured the family vacations to Gatlinburg. Considered the “Best Mother, Grandmother, and Great-grandmother” by her family, she cherished the time spent with her beloved family. Her friends and family will remember her making her famous banana pudding and the wonderful times spent together. Dorothy was preceded in death by her father, Jack Alanzo Best; son, Thomas Richards; grandson, Paxton Hicks; nephew, Josh Dubois; and husband, Michael Roberts. She is survived by her loving husband, Jimmy Paige; daughter, Misty Hicks (Eric); mother, Shirley Crow; brother, Jack Alanzo Best Jr; granddaughters, Brittney Richards, Kimberlee Hicks, and Baily Manning (Eli); grandsons, Paytton Richards, and Bentley Richards; and great-grandchildren, Michael, Nevaeh, Leia, Kruz, Evalee, and Khalil. Visitation will be from 4-8 pm on Monday, November 20, 2023, at Moore-Cortner Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, November 21, 2023, in the Chapel of Moore-Cortner Funeral Home with Bro. Shane Scott. Interment will follow at Concord Cemetery in Tullahoma.
