Dorothy Jean Hollis, age 60, of Athens, formerly of Florence, passed away Monday, April 28, 2014.
Visitation will be Friday, May 2, from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. at Spry-Williams Funeral Home of Florence. The service will follow at 1 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Brother Richard Davis officiating. Burial will be at Shaw Cemetery. Pallbearers are Dakota Harper, Keith Harper, Chaz Pate, Randy Scott, and Mitchell Smith.
Survivors include her son, Robert O’Neal Hollis; sisters, Marie Miles, Kay Copeland, Judy Crowder, Nelda Vidal, Jane Martinez, and Shirley McDougal; brother, Marvin Pounders; daughter-in-law, Minnie Hollis; and three grandchildren.
