Carlton Earl Hollis, age 34, of Athens, formerly of Florence, passed away Monday, April 28, 2014. Visitation will be Friday, May 2, from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. at Spry-Williams Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 1 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Brother Richard Davis officiating. Burial will be at Shaw Cemetery.
Mr. Hollis was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Dorothy Hollis.
He is survived by his wife, Minnie Hollis; son, Matthew Hollis; and brother, Robert O’Neal Hollis.
Earl was a friend to all who knew him and will be greatly missed.
