Dorothy Faye Thompson Cross, 79, of Moulton passed away Wednesday, October 18, 2017 at her residence. Visitation will be from 6 till 8 p.m. on Friday, October 20, 2017, at Lawrence Funeral Home. The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. on Saturday, October 21, 2017, at the funeral home chapel with Calvin Jones officiating. Burial will be in Moulton Memory Gardens.
A member of Fair Haven Church of Christ, Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband, Vernon Cross; parents, Harvey Clark and Madgie Terry Thompson; brothers, Hollis Thompson, Albert Thompson, and Harvey Thompson; and sisters, Rebecca Day and Lucille Ransom.
Survivors include her children, Amy Michele Cross of Hatton, Timothy Lee Cross of Hatton, Rebecca Ann Looney (Skip) of Trinity, and Jonathan Vernon Cross (Jennifer) of Toney; grandchildren, Tyler Looney and Trevor Looney of Trinity and Joseph Limbrick and Samuel Limbrick of Toney; brothers, James Thompson (Frances) of Hoover, Larry Thompson of Falkville, and Mike Thompson of Prattville; and sister, Juanita Brown (Bill) of North Aurora, Illinois
Pallbearers will be Tyler Looney, Trevor Looney, Dana Yarbrough, Ricky Thompson, Ray Long, Rufus Long, and Hillard Long.
