Dorothy Eloise Jones, age 82, native of Erin, TN, residing in Huntsville, passed away on Thursday April 25, 2013 at Huntsville Hospital.
Mrs. Jones spent a majority of her life as a caregiver, taking care of people in their illnesses, only to succumb to her own after a year long battle. She is preceded in death by her husband, Jesse James Jones; her parents, Othel and Grace Parker; her sons, Gary James Jones and Steven Duane Jones; her grandson, Derek Lee Jones; and several brothers and sisters.
Mrs. Jones is survived by her sons, Terry Lee Jones and Jeffrey Dean Jones; her sisters, Betty Odom, Linda Farmer, and Jewel Richmond; and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be on Sunday April 28, 2013 at 2 pm in the chapel of Spry Funeral Home of Huntsville with burial to follow in Huntsville Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends on that day from 12pm until 2pm at the funeral home.
