Doris N. Clark, 83, of Jasper, passed away Saturday, June 26, 2020, at Ridgeview Health Care.
Family will be receiving friends on Monday, June 29, 2020, from 10 until 11 a.m., at Kilgore-Green Funeral Home. Service will follow at 11 a.m., in the Kilgore-Green Chapel, burial at Walker Memory Gardens. Eric Hixon will officiate.
Doris was born September 19, 1936, in Breman, GA. She was a faithful member of Eastside Baptist Church and she loved her church family. She worked at Winn-Dixie for over 30 years and made many friends in those years. She retired from Winn-Dixie in August 1996. Doris enjoyed spending time with her family and going to gospel singings with her friends. She was a great mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and friend.
She was preceded in death by her husband, George Clark; parents, Verdie Nolen and Wilton Nolen; and brother, Doffus Nolen.
She is survived by her children, Perry Clark, Melissa Anchors (Ray) and Rena Chance (Hollis); grandchildren, Holli Chance, Anna Clark, and Clark Chance; great grandchild, Jordan; siblings, Mildred Gordon, Bobby Nolen (Ann), Berdie Lee Hixon (Sonny), Ronnie Nolen (Donna), Donald Ray Nolen, and Kathy Green; sister-in-law: Delene Nolen and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
