Dorene Miller Kauffman, age 83 of Plantersville, MS, formerly of Haleyville, Alabama passed away peacefully in her sleep on Wednesday, January 3, 2024. She was a retired preschool assistant teacher and a member of First Baptist Church, Haleyville.
Visitation will be Saturday, January 6, 2024 from 12:00 Noon to 1:00 p.m. at Pinkard Funeral Home, Haleyville, AL. Funeral service will begin at 1:00 p.m. with Dr. Nathan Carroll officiating. Burial will follow in Corinth Heights Cemetery.
Ms. Kauffman is survived by her 3 children, Carlene (Bill) Moberg, Brenda (Brad) Thomas and James Kauffman; brother Dean Miller; sister, Doris (Gary) Loy; brother in law, Lynn (Susie) Kauffman; grandchildren, Toby Kauffman, Megan Kauffman, Isaac Kauffman, Joshua Moberg and James Thomas; great great grandchildren, Rheanna, Tate and Remington; and a host of other family members and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Milo and Mildred Miller; brothers Donald and Delton Miller; and husband, Carl Kauffman.
