Donny Nigel Harris, 74, passed away peacefully in his sleep Friday, January 23, 2026, at his home with his wife and caregiver, Rose. He was born September 28, 1951, to N.A. and Winnie Harris. He owned and operated an auto detail shop for many years. He was a member of the Church of Christ. He enjoyed deer hunting, spending time with his grandchildren and his dog, George.
A Celebration of Life will be announced later by McMillan Funeral Home.
He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Linda Harris; two sons, Jason (Amy) Harris and PeeWee (Vanessa) Harris; one daughter, Connie Hancock; one brother, Ronnie Harris; and five grandchildren, Tyson, Jake (Katelyn), Loren, Eli and Anndrea.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, an infant and Jimmy Dale Harris; a sister, Wanda Counce; and a granddaughter, Molly Grace.
Pallbearers are Jason Harris, PeeWee Harris, Tyson Harris, Jake Harris, and Eli Harris.
Honorary pallbearers are Jackie Harris, Rusty Cole, Billy Joe Garvin, Chris Holland, Kyle Gable and Mark Barnes.
