Donald Wayne Childers of Ramer, TN was born January 31, 1951 in Corinth, MS the son of Virginia Griffin Burks and the late L Q Childers. He was united in marriage to Donna Mae James on October 11, 1986. He was a retired Truck Driver for Cardinal Logistics in Adamsville, TN. He previously worked for Dana Corporation in Corinth.
Mr. Childers was a member of Olive Hill Baptist Church in Guys, TN where he served as Songleader. He was a U. S. Army Veteran having served in the Vietnam era. Wayne was a loving husband and father. He departed this life on January 13, 2017 in his home at the age of 65 Years, 11 Months, 13 Days.
He is survived by his wife Donna Mae Childers of Ramer, TN. Their daughter, Jessica Dione Childers, preceded him in death on November 3, 2011. Other than his wife, Wayne is survived by his mother, Virginia Burks of Corinth; a sister, Linda Mills of Corinth, MS and a host of extended family and friends.
In addition to his father and daughter, Mr. Childers was preceded in death by a brother, Lannie Childers.
