Donald Martin, 69 of Graysville, went to his Heavenly home on June 18, 25 after a courageous battle with health issues.
He was a one of a kind loving and devoted husband and a loving, wonderful father and grandfather. He was a great mentor, with a generous heart and caring nature of life. He was a master of Barbeque. He made everyone feel welcome.
He was preceded in death by his parents, W.D. and Alice Faye Martin, his brother, George “Bits” Martin; daughter, Misty Michelle Reed and granddaughters, Miranda Diffy and Marca Smith.
Survivors include his wife, Cindy Martin; children, Stacie Washington (Micheal), Katherine Smith, Melinda Nicole McCartney (Eric), Quinton Martin (Bethani); grandchildren, Juston Diffy (Lyndzee), Page Stufflebeme, Gage Stufflebeme (Bri), Britany Diffy, Madison Martin, Zayland McCartney, Katherine Eve McCartney, Kylie Jones, Oaklynn Martin, Camron Hayes and Mason McCartney; sisters, Doris Abbott (Anthony) and Brenda Yarborough; numerous great grandchildren and cousins.
Funeral services will be Tuesday June 24, 25 at 11:00 am in the New Horizon Chapel. Brother Gary Jones will officiate. Burial will follow at Four Mile Baptist Cemetery in Wilsonville. Visitation is Monday night 6-8 pm at the funeral home.
