Donald Lee Landers, age 94, of Greenbrier, passed away Monday, December 25, 2023 at NHC Healthcare in Springfield. Funeral services will be held Friday, January 5, 2024 at 12pm in the chapel of the Austin & Bell Funeral Home in Greenbrier with Brother Mike Peasall officiating. Burial will follow in the Greenbrier Cemetery with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, January 4, 2024 from 4-8pm and again on Friday from 10am until the hour of service at 12pm.
Mr. Landers waws born June 17, 1929 in Corona, CA. He was a Minister, Evangelist and Missionary, spending 30 years in Hawaii and 8 years in Israel. Mr. Landers was a compassionate giver and was a Veteran serving in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.
Mr. Landers is preceded in death by his wife, Verbena Fay Gilbreath Landers, his sisters, Donna Darlene Dyer and Virginia Littlejohn, and his brother, Richard Landers.
He is survived by his sons and daughter-in-law, Dan and Carla Landers and Steve Landers, both of Greenbrier; daughter and son-in-law, Linda and Alan Manibog of Hawaii; sister and brother-in-law, Susan and Doug Rockholt of Columbia, TN; 8 grandchildren; and 7 great-grandchildren.
